As a UX Designer, I enjoy trying my hand at a bit of everything. I love working with people, asking questions that reveal their motivations, and using what I learn to make designs that work better for them. Right now, I am interested in learning more about motion design and I am excited to incorporate it into my website.
From a young age, I've always had a sketchbook in hand. To me, drawing was like seeing how someone thought, their perspective on the world. I knew I wanted to create for a living, so I tried everything. Throughout high school, I immersed myself in as many art classes as possible, enjoying the opportunity to explore and challenge my creative abilities. I was intrigued by the Industrial design program at OCAD University, recognizing design's power to impact so many people.
During my time at OCAD University, I delved into diverse fields of design, from furniture making to product drawing. It was in my final year that I found a passion in digital products and discovered UX Design.
I love listening to stories about people's lives, and I believe this made me good at empathizing with people. This has been an asset in every project I’ve worked on; as a barista, manager and in user experience design.
My creative interests are endless from drawings and paintings, to latte art and furniture design. I worked in theatre, experimented with coding for visual effects and made 3D printable designs. I am always learning some new creative skill. I believe this makes my perspective unique, allowing me to see opportunity spaces and connect dots others miss to generate new ideas.
